Switch Direct Debit is a small, independent UK service for people who need a Direct Debit to meet a bank switching offer.
Why we exist
Many UK bank switching offers ask you to move Direct Debits across when you switch. If you don’t have enough, setting one up just for a switch can be fiddly. We’re building a simple monthly Direct Debit with a short checkout and easy cancellation, made for that one job.

Independent of banks
We aren’t a bank and we aren’t connected to any bank. Each bank decides whether a Direct Debit meets its own offer conditions, so we can’t guarantee a switching reward. Our guides explain how switching offers commonly work, with links to the sources we used.
Where we are now
We’re pre-launch. Sign-ups aren’t open yet and we don’t take any payments. Before we open, we’ll publish full customer terms, confirm our timings and add online cancellation.
How we write our guides
- We base them on official sources, such as the Current Account Switch Service, and on reputable consumer guides like Which?.
- We link to our sources on every guide and show when it was last updated.
- We don’t recommend particular bank offers, and nothing on this site is financial advice.
