Who is responsible?
Tong Wei trading as Switch Direct Debit is responsible for the personal information we use. Contact hello@switchdirectdebit.co.uk or write to 88c High Road, London N2 9EB, United Kingdom.
What we collect and why
If you email us, we receive your email address, name if supplied, message and any attachments. We use these to answer your enquiry and keep a record of the response. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries; where you ask us to take steps towards a service contract, we also rely on those pre-contract steps.
Our hosting and security providers process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and request logs to deliver the website and prevent abuse. This supports our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
Sign-ups are closed. We do not currently collect customers’ bank details or take payments through this website. Please do not email passwords, identity documents or bank account details.
Service providers and international processing
We use Cloudflare for website hosting, security and email forwarding, and Google Gmail to receive support messages. Providers may process information outside the UK. Their privacy information explains the international safeguards they use: Cloudflare and Google. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and retention
We have not added advertising or optional analytics to this website. Hosting and security services may set essential security cookies. We keep enquiry records only for as long as reasonably needed to answer you, handle follow-up questions and meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. We review retained enquiries periodically. Providers retain technical records under their own retention arrangements.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests, where the relevant right applies. Email us to make a request or raise a concern. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
We will update this notice before opening customer sign-ups or changing how we use information.
